Gary York is the founder and Chairman of Awarix. Awarix provides patient care solutions to hospitals to improve the efficiency of their patient management. Gary received his Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon and served as a research fellow at the University of California at Berkeley. He is a popular speaker and author in the areas of entrepreneurship and technology. Gary not only holds impressive academic credentials; he has been to the "entrepreneur’s mountain-top" not once, but three times. Previous to Awarix, he founded and led two other highly successful companies: Comframe Software, an IT Consultancy and Emageon, a medical imaging provider for the healthcare industry.
